Shadow Room; Knowing About Myself

Interactive video work

In encounters, identities entwined,
Individuality and hidden sides aligned.
Light and shadow, a parallel embrace,
Revealing truths, inviting self-awareness.

Moving through space, shadows bloom,
Changing in color and shape in every room.
An installation, shifting perceptions anew,
Conceptions of self, transformed through and through.

Inside themselves, viewers explore,
Numerous shadows and figures they adore.
With red, green, and blue lights in play,
Id, Ego, Super Ego, a symphony's display.

Silhouettes emerge, unexpected, surreal,
Improbable figures, truths concealed.
In this symbiotic dance, a journey unfolds,
Where changeable identities and stories are untold.

As viewers traverse the installation, their ever-changing shadows, illuminated in vibrant hues, provoke introspection. This immersive experience challenges preconceived notions of self, urging viewers to embrace the multitude of shadows within, guided by the symbolic representation of the Id, Ego, and Super Ego.
